Support for 50 Multi disabled children

Quarterly Report.

By K.S.Raveendra – Project Leader

Dear Friends,

Please do accept our sincere thanks for your valuable support to our project for  Multiple disabled children.

Your support is highly valuable for us to deliver the services for Children with Multiple disabilities.

This is the on-going project; in our project we have children with multiple disabilities (Visually Impaired and visually impairment with  Mentally challenged or Hearing loss).

The background of these children socially, economically backward and they are severe disabled due to malnutrition.   These children are neglected by their parents.  Hence Divine Light is providing free residential Education and appropriate training to bring them to mainstream.

The Success story of Keshava

Keshava is 12 years old, he is Hearing Impaired with mentally challenged.  He came to our institution at the age of 5 years.  When we admitted his condition was very pathetic, he did not have even basic self-help skills.  Therefore we began his training with self-help care, Sign language and lip reading and dance with movements.

He found of Craft & Gardening, hence we trained him Craft in addition to   Pre-vocational & Horticulture training

Now he is rehabilitated successfully in the community.   He assist his parents in house hold activities and gardening.

We take this opportunity to thank each and every donor in a special way for their generous donation and also we thank wholeheartedly to Global Giving for their valuable support and guidance for the benefit of the children with multiple disabilities.

With regards,

Sincerely,

K.S.RAVEENDRA
