Dear Friends,

Please do accept our sincere thanks for your valuable support to our project for Multi disabled children.

Your support is the sustaining factor in providing services for Children with Multiple disabilities.

This is the on-going project; in our project we have children with multiple disabilities (Visually Impaired and visually impairment with Mental challenges or Hearing loss).

The background of these children are socially, economically backward and they are severe disabled due to malnutrition.  These children are neglected by their parents.  Hence Divine Light is providing free residential Education and appropriate training to bring them to mainstream.

The Success story of Yellappa

Yellappa is 18 years old, he is totally Blind & mentally challenged.  He came to our institution at the age of 4 years.  When he came he did not have even basic self-help skills.  So we taught him necessary self-help care, Mobility, Braille writing and reading, Music with movements.

He is fond of music, hence we trained him extensively in Music with instruments.

Now he is independent and standing on his feet with the help of our Mobility training he is able to travel different parts of the state and we have successfully rehabilitated in the community.

We take this opportunity to thank you in a special way to GlobalGiving and all the donors who have contributed generously for the benefit of the children with Multiple disabilities.

With regards,

Sincerely,

 K.S.RAVEENDRA
