Support for 50 Multi disabled children

Dear Friends,

Thank you for the initiative you have taken to support to our project for Multiple disabled children.

This is on-going project; in our project we have children with multiple disabilities (Visually Impaired and visually impairment with Mentally challenged or Hearing loss and Physically disabled).

The background of these children socially, economically backward and they are severe disabled due to malnutrition. These children are neglected by their parents even during Covid-19 situation the parents have not take the children home. Hence Divine Light is providing free residential Education and appropriate training in : Braille, Orientation & Mobility, Parents Counselling, Medical Intervention, Horticulture, Craft, Music, Tailoring, Social Skills &Self help care etc… in addition to prevention of disability programme.

The following are the highlights of this quarter :-

1^st November 2021 - Celebration of Kannada Rajyothsava

5^th November 2021 - Celebration of Deepavali

14^th November 2021 - Celebration of Children’s Day

20^th November 2021 - Parents Meeting

3^rd December 2021 - Celebration of international day of Persons with disabilities

25^th December 2021 - Celebration of Christmas

1^st January 2022 - New year celebration

4^th January 2022 - Celebration of Louie Braille Day

15^th January 2022 - Celebration of Pongal festival
