Dear Friends,
Thank you donor for your contribution towards this Nobel cause for the benefit of the less fortunate children.
Through this project children with multiple disabilities (Visually Impaired and visually impairment with Mentally challenged or Hearing loss and Physically disabled) have immensely benefited since they come from poorest of the poor family.
During Covid-19 pandemic Divine Light Trust for the Blind is continue to serve more than 500 children in different parts of the state through voluntaries in addition to the Multi disabled children who are staying on the campus.
Success story of Chy
Chy is a 20 year old girl having Multiple disabilities (she has Low-vision with Profound mental retardation & speech deformity).
She came to our center when she was 12 years old. She is come from very poorest of the poor family, she has single parent. Due to severe disability she is not cope-up with the regular academic and she has thrown out of the family.
Hence DLTB trained her in Horticulture and house hold activities and we taught her social skills. Now she is independent and able to stand on her feet and she is not burden to the parents and society. At this stage the family has accepted her as their child.
We wish all the best to Chy…
We once again thank all the donors and GlobalGiving for their continued support and constant guidance for the benefit of these kind of children.
