Support for 50 Multi disabled children

Dear Friends,
We are pleased to submit the quarterly report of our project for Children with Multiple disABILITIES.
We sincerely appreciate and acknowledge the valuable support of the donors through GlobalGiving community.
The donations we received through GlobalGiving helped us to provide the services for children with Multiple disabilities.
In this project we have children with multiple disabilities (Visually Impaired and visually impairment with Mentally challenged or Hearing loss).
The background of these children socially, economically backward and they are severe disabled due to malnutrition. These children are neglected by their parents due to poverty. Hence Divine Light is providing free residential Education and appropriate training in : Braille, Orientation & Mobility, Computer training, Tailoring, Horticulture, Craft & Music, Parent counselling, Medical intervention, Social skills and self help care etc…. in order to bring them to the mainstream.
The following are the Highlights of this quarter:-
5th September 2018 - Celebration of Teacher’s Day
25th September 2018 - 1st Semester examination
to 30th September 2018
2nd October 2018 - Celebration of Gandhi Jayanthi
3rd to 7th October 2018 - Children’s Assessment
18th & 19th October 2018 - Celebration of famous Dasara Festival in Karnataka
1st November 2018 - Celebration of Kannada Rajyostava
7th November 2018 - Celebration of Depavali Festival
14th November 2018 - Celebration of Children Day
