Dear Friends,

We are extremely happy to submit the quarterly report of our project for Children with Multiple disABILITIES.

We wholeheartedly appreciate and acknowledge the support of the donors through GlobalGiving community.

Your valuable donation has been utilised provide residential education, training & rehabilitation for the children with disabilities.

We encourage the children to participate in various programmes for their all-round development in addition to Education and training like Music, Dance, Tailoring, Braille, Orientation and Mobility, Parent counselling, Medical intervention, social skills and self-help care etc… in order to bring them to the mainstream.

The following are the highlights of this quarter:-

• March 2018

5^th March 2018           -           Children assessment

18^th March 2018         -           Celebration of Ugadi Festival

20^th March 2018         -           Health Check-up

22^nd March 2018         -           Annual Day Celebration

23^rd March 2018

to 6^th April 2018           -           Children appeared for 10^th class final exams conducted                  

                                               by the Govt. of Karnataka and secured 1^st class.

• April & May 2018

We have conducted a  Survey of the disabled Children in and around Bangalore.

25^th May 2018                -       Parents training and counselling programme                  

                                               was conducted.

The Success story of Raju

Raju is 20 year old, he is Visually Impaired with Learning disability.  He came to our Institution at the age of 6 years.  He come from very poor family and he was neglected by his parents.

Therefore we admitted Raju to our center after Medical Intervention we began his training with : self-help care, Pre-braille, Braille reading & writing, Orientation and Mobility training, social skills  and music.   Due to the intensive & individual attention, he has come-up very well and developed self – confidence.

Then we began regular curriculum and he appeared for 10^th class public examination conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka in the month of March 2018 and he secured First class in the public exam and now he is persuading his higher studies.

We wish him all the success for his future.
