The project is currently in progress, with $1 raised from the $10,000 total project goal, leaving $9,999 still required to fully implement the planned activities. So far, the project has received support from 3 donors, with no monthly donors currently contributing. The available funding represents only a small portion of the resources needed to reach the target of 50 children and provide the mobility aids, hearing aids, Braille and specialized learning materials, physiotherapy, teacher training, and school accessibility improvements outlined in the project plan.
During the reporting period, efforts have remained focused on building support for the project and preparing for implementation. The project will require substantial additional funding before all planned interventions can be delivered at the intended scale. With approximately 8 months remaining, fundraising will remain a priority to ensure that the children identified for support can access appropriate educational resources and inclusive learning environments. Continued donor contributions will help close the $9,999 funding gap and enable the project to achieve its target of supporting 50 children with disabilities into school.
