Dear friedns,
Gla'ds House is happy and proud to have been part of 4 young people's lives. The four young people were all met in the streets of Mombasa and they really wanted to get education. While one sat for Kenya Certificate of secondary education (KCSE),3 sat for Kenya certificate of primary education (KCPE).
Billy was taken in Glad's House while he was 9 years. He was left out while all the family members including the mother had taken off to the streets. He was dragged to the streets by one of the sisters. At a tender age, Billy made the decision to live in a foster care and attend school.
"It has been a journey worht the sacrice. Now i have completed calss 8, i cannot wait to go to secondary school. I came in when when i did not know how to read, write and even spell my name. Now am educated and I have learnt many things. Compared to where i started, ther is a very big difference" said Billy as he reflected.
As Billy counts his blessings on being supported for 9 years, livng in a loving family, going to a good school and getting very good marks, Glad's House is also counting her blessings. We could be able to support these amazing children and young peole without your support.
There has been storms, strong winds, sunshine and rain along the journey. We have stood together. As they hope to transit to the next level of their education journey, they still needs us. Yes, Glad's House and you, you our friend and supporter.
Kindly continue supporting us and we will surely continue to support these gifted and vulnerable children and young people so that they can explore the opoortunities in their lives.
Many thanks
