Thanks to your generous support, we have reached our fundraising goal and are now in the process of getting bids for the run-in shelters for our horses. The horses will then have places they can choose to use to protect them from intense sun or stormy weather. We'll be sure to send you photos and a report when they are built.
Because of you, we have empowered those who need it most - people like Dwayne, who has autism and who totally withdrew from life and disconnected with everyone 3 years ago. Since working with our horses, he has graduated high school with honors, enjoys meeting and being with people, and talks about going to college. You have empowered rescued horses like Jibaron, our ex-police horse who suffered trauma during Hurricane Maria and when the mounted police division dissolved and he lost his work partner. He, too, was shut down and disconnected from everyone when he arrived at Horses of Hope. Now, he shines as a therapeutic equine partner for amazing people like Dwayne.
Since we reached the goal, this project will no longer be active on GlobalGiving. But we want to STAY ACTIVE in showing our gratitude for you. Because of you, miracles are happening.
