Dear Friends,
I hope you are doing great,we are also faring on well and doing what we do best. In this update,we would like to inform you about our new direction of investing in children with disabilities.
We reckon that the future of disability movement both in Kenya and globally, will depend on the kind of investment we make in children with disability now.It is in this view that your continued support is critical towards securing the same future for generations to come.
We have made a decision to concentrate on issues of education for children with disabilities so that they can grow up into successful adults taking on leadership in various sectors of the economy. This means that from a small age, they will need to be rehabilitated based on the different type of disability they have and given necessary assistive device they need to be able to lead independent lives and attend school just as any other child.
With your support,we will continue offering walking aids, wheelchairs and other implements that will enable Children to overcome various challenges to excel in life. We also offer sporting activities in schools that enable Children with Disabilities to play alongside their colleagues who do not have any disability and thus facilitating an inclusive atmosphere that promotes an understanding of diversity from a young age while building friendships.
Soon we will launch a separate campaign focusing on education of this target group and count on you to inform friends around you who are interested in matters of education for marginalized populations such as children with disabilities.
Thank you so much for standing with our initiative, you are the souls that keep our work on-going and we appreciate your partnership.
