Greetings from the field,
I thought it would be a nice thing to feed you-in with a few things we are handling at the moment.It is indeed an exciting moment for the organization to re-think our strategic direction in terms of the work we do within the community. We have had an opportunity to look inward,around our environment and the outside world as we position ourselves to create impact in our community.
Our board and the staff believe that we have a unique opportunity to influence lives of thousands of persons with disabilities through a two-pronged approach.This will mainly be through education and sustainable livelihoods and putting a key focus on children with disabilities and young people.
We are currently refining these strategies and will be able to share with all of you at an appropriate time in the next two months or so,we have also come up with a particular strategy to address our work on issues of disability and employment.The strategy is going to enable us scale our work and apply the use of technology to accelerate employment of persons with disabilities across board.
All this cannot be possible without your support,the donations that you continuously give to this project allow us to facilitate the mobility of persons with disabilities within our programs so that they can lead independent lives and take up other challenges in nation building.
