Dear Friends!

It has been a while! and a lot has been happening on our front,i am hoping you are all doing great in your various duty stations or fields of passion.

We are indeed grateful that you still find time to support our work in various ways,our success is only possible through your endless dedication to the vision of Action Network for the Disabled and it is the enabler of the impact we are able to see during our initiative implementation period.

Jane* had just received news from her application with a local company that she had been successful with her interview and offered a job,but little did she know that something was to come in between. Her crutches broke just when about to report to her new posting,she was lost in her own world since she didnt have enough money to buy new ones yet she needed this job like never before.On contacting us,we were able to offer her new crutches enabling her to report to her new job without any hindrace,she was very grateful for this help which was on time. Her story is the story of many who cannot afford the mobility aids when in need.

We are very thankful for your help that enables us to support people like Jane* to regain their mobility and lead independent lives.

Of interest,we have started an inclusive sports project targeting children with disabilities in five primary schools within Nairobi,it has been fun working with these children and witnessing the power of sports as a social change agent breaking barriers that exist between those children without disabilities and their colleagues with disabilities ,we are excited and are ready to continue with this project into the coming year given the benefits realized.
