The Moroccan NGO "Spectacle for Everyone" based in the North of the country, Tangiers, drove all the way to the South of Morocco after DSH had contacted them and invited them to our site. They drove for over 24 hours in their mobile truck, a truck that functions as a theatre, a library and a training center. For this one presentation for the children participating in the Environmental Education program, such an event was unique on this Saturday November 9th. They have never seen a play before, they have never experienced a show like this, this has been a marking and out of the ordinary experience for them. The children were happy and excited, as well as the participating parents and the school administration.
In addition to this special event, we continue working with the children on the school internal gardens. For the beginning of the planting season, we have received as donation new samplings and grains to continue our work with the children. The school gardens have been transformed from barren, dirt-dry spaces to now lush green with plants and insect hotels. Parents speak about how their children have brought the new knowledge of composting and working in their families' gardens back from the DSH based training. We are so proud of these children and we have you to think for your unfailing support.
