This summer, Hands for Charity undertook a humanitarian trip in Sudan. The visit focused on three critical initiatives: assessing damaged schools for future reconstruction, distributing essential food supplies to families returning to Khartoum, and supporting sustainable livelihoods for mothers working to provide for their families.
As part of the mission, Hands for Charity distributed 40 kg food baskets to help returning families meet their basic nutritional needs after enduring conflict and displacement. The delegation also assessed damaged schools to identify future reconstruction needs and launched a five-acre farming project to help mothers develop sustainable sources of food and income for their households.
Despite these efforts, humanitarian needs in Sudan remain immense. Families returning home continue to face food insecurity, disrupted education, and economic hardship. Your support can make a direct difference. By donating today, you can help provide emergency food to hungry families, support educational opportunities for children, and empower mothers to build more secure livelihoods. Every contribution brings us closer to a future where families in Sudan can live with dignity, stability, and hope. Stand with the people of Sudan—donate today and help turn hope into lasting impact.
