WHOLE CHILD MODEL: GUINEA, WEST AFRICA
PROJECT CLOSING REPORT
This is School-to-School International’s final report on Global Giving for our Whole Child Model in Guinea. We will be closing our account on the Global Giving platform but will continue implementing the project and accepting donations through the School-to-School International’s website.
For over a decade School-to-School International has implemented and refined an approach that embodies our founding principle: For students to thrive, they must have their basic needs fulfilled. We have implemented activities from all three components of the Whole Child Model — Education, Health, and Community Engagement. Our program covers a broad set of interventions, including activity-based teaching and learning, a girls’ scholarship program, construction of school wells, quality health and wellness education, improved school sanitation, parent and community involvement, and empowerment of school management.
STS is grateful for all of those that have donated to our mission in Guinea and hope you continue to follow our work at http://sts-international.org/what-we-do/whole-child-model/.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you can receive an email when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports without donating.
