Online sexual exploitation is a growing issue. Using the internet, predators are able to access and exploit children all over the globe. We work with law enforcement to stop predators who are abusing children and with local systems to provide healing services to survivors. Our work takes place in multiple countries, primality Thailand. Funding this program helps us stop abuse that is actively happening, assist law enforcement units in prosecuting offenders, and assist survivors in healing.
Children in Thailand are being exploited and trafficked at an alarming rate. With the ease of internet access, this problem is only growing. Survivors are groomed online, their abuse is filmed and then distributed via social media platforms, and predators use the internet to access children.
We work with law enforcement to identify individuals actively abusing and trafficking children using social media platforms. We build cases, work with law enforcement to action them, and then work with prosecutors to find justice as well as work with survivors to help them not only heal but thrive. Our local team, all full-time and from the country, work alongside government and nonprofit partners to stop this abuse from continuing and to protect the most vulnerable.
The long term impact is immeasurable. We aim to assist in systemic change, creating a digital world where abusing children is not only hard, but impossible. For the survivors we serve, the sooner we are able to get there, the sooner their abuse stops. Every day there is risk they are being abused again. The faster we can act, the better tools we can use, the less trauma these children go through. Your donation makes that happen. Thank you for being a part of the team here at IPA
