Thank you for your involvement!
From the beginning of COVID19 pandemic crisis in Romania, in March 2020, ARTI managed to keep active and involved 1000 children from Dolj county, offering them all the necessary educational materials, as well as the equipment they needed so much! During the pandemic, we offered virtual classrooms and digital materials for all our rural students with the help of their theachers.
The situation of COVID-19 has led to the closure of schools and implicitly to the orientation of our education towards a platform of virtual education. However, the situation in the villages is difficult. More than half of the rural students, included in our program, do not have internet access. We continued to offer paper based educational resourses and to support teachers in virtual teaching.
With the help of EDU FOR FUTURE organisation we started to equip children with tablets connected to the Internet to continue learning at home, especially to keep them in touch with the school and to keep employees in this scheme.
We consider that tehnology is a very important part in preparing useful lessons. Therefore, we will continue our efforts to give IT equipments to teachers, paper based materials to children and interactive lessons.
We hope you will continue to join us to stop illiteracy together.
Best off all,
Cristina
