With your support two new schools joined the network of SRB Associated Schools from rural area!
The School from Afumati will have 1 class for reception with at least 14 children and the School from Amarasti will have 2 classes for reception with at least 14 children/class that will learn to read and write using a great amount of materials provided by The Romanian British School of Craiova (which is also a project of our organisation). Moreover, the teachers from our new associated school will have access to our entire resource packages to improve their teaching and also the learning of the pupils. The next step is to organise a training for the teachers from all schools that are part of our network.
Furthermore, we were honoured to host the visit of Mr. Nigel Bellingham, the British Council Director, at Valea Stanciului School, one of our Associated Schools from Stop Illiteracy as a Legacy! He was accompanied by Alina Constantinescu, Schools and Society Programme Manager at British Council Romania.
We will keep reporting our progress and our following steps!
Thank you!
