Since the April 25, 2015, we have accomplished so much. We fed over 20,000 people, built community bathrooms, drinking water systems and distributed winder jackets, boots, blankets, tents, blue tarps, mattresses and medicines.
We installed drinking water systems in Laprak, and the villagers no longer have to walk over an hour to get a drinking water from the river which most of the carrying water is done by women and girls. We have reduced their workload by 95%.
We took almost a month and half of planning, working with local, buying and carrying supplies and the easiest part was the construction.
We put community bathrooms in Gumda, and the villagers no longer have to worry about getting contaminated their drinking water.
We were going to start vocational training at the beginning of March, but we were unable due to lack of fuel, cooking gas and other goods. However, we plan to start our vocational in the middle of April.
Nepali people faced so much hurdled after massive earthquakes because of the blockage between India and Nepal border, which is only the way to bring goods into Nepal.
Thank you all for your generous support!
