Our trainees took breaks from their vocational trainings and ran number of awareness campaigns in several villages. They walked for several days to reach number of villages. They hold number of meetings and had talked with community leaders and young women and girls. It was about violence against women and how to report suspicious activities around or near their village. They also talked about what JHF does, which is sewing, chef and cosmetology training for women wo were at risk of being trafficked and rescue those who have been trafficked.
We are in the process of bringing new group of young women who were at risk of being trafficked or who were stopped from being trafficked.
