YOUr continued support of IWHC and its partners in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
At first we weren't sure if we'd raise the $4,000 to succeed in GlobalGiving's challenge. But then YOU gave a gift, YOU spread the word and YOU showed us how much you care about preventing HIV and unwanted pregnancy in Cameroon.
YOU inspired us to raise the goal to $8,000 and YOU continued to inspire. Thanks to YOU this project is fully funded.
IWHC's partner SWAAC will use these funds to bolster their work to promote and distribute female condoms to women in poor, isolated areas in Cameroon. They will continue to educate volunteers, religious and ethnic leaders, and traditional healers on how to use female condoms through workshops and trainings. As you know, female condoms are the only woman-controlled method that prevents both HIV and unwanted pregnancy.
