The Forum to Advance Minorities in Engineering (FAME), Inc. STEMulate Change Initiative continues to serve bright young minds.
Your ongoing support continues to spark innovation and creativity among our students, the next generation of STEM leaders and change-makers.
This summer students participated in in-person programming, engaging with peers, educators, and community partners, learning an array of STEM topics. Students used problem solving skills, addressing complex issues in our local and global economy. Students focused on ergonomics, the study of people’s efficiency. Research projects explored exercise safety and comfortability, understanding how to improve exercise routines and increase endurance. Additionally, they enjoyed industry visits, learned about weather and temperature changes, hearing loss and hearing aids, renewable energy and energy sources, robotics, and more.
