I hope that this report finds you well.
As usual, we start by thanking you and expressing our deepest appreciation on behalf of the dozens of children and the youth living in less privileged communities whose lives you have impacted through your generous support. Our work is only possible through your valuable support.
Our primary area of focus remains to facilitate and provide access to education for children and the youth living in less privileged communities and their access to STEM education.
We have made inroads into a township within Roodepoort, Johannesburg. The homes in this township are all tin structures locally referred to as shacks. The young people are very disadvantaged in this environment, and our goal is to assist in their education journey, from primary, through high school and to tertiary level. It is obvious that their chances of success or lack of it, through education depends on the foundation that is made available to them.
Part of our strategy is to provide these young people with extra tuition starting with the English language. Though English is their language of instruction most even at high school level, are still not able to communicate in English. This of course affects their understanding in class and consequently, their overall school performance. We believe that our program will go a long way in improving the educational performance and consequently, the lives of these young people.
We remain grateful for your invaluable support towards this program.
Thank you and warm regards
