Challenge

Climate change is causing floods and landslides throughout the state, aggravated in the period between December and February.

Solution

This project seeks to fund the Red Cross Team responsible for providing Disaster Relief and Disaster Preparedness courses to vulnerable populations, seeking to both mitigate future damages and losses as well as provide for the immediate needs of those affected.

Long-Term Impact

Preparing vulnerable populations will reduce the loss of life and property on future disasters, while responding and providing immediate relief will allow for those affected to live on and rebuild.
