Our annual Street Sports Tournament is just around the corner! We are now getting ready to host the Street Sports Tournament 2019 which will unite 250 boys and girls with the medium of soccer, netball and cricket in the communities of Cape Town, Masiphumele, Khayelitsha, Constantia and Langa. Past volunteers and sports advocates have greatly supported our Community Sports Development project and because of their passion, motivation, and great interest, we managed to raise over R70,000!
Volunteers and interns on the ground have also been great supporters of the Tournament by taking part in yoga activities, surfing lessons, Zumba dancing and taking a tour in Cape Town which incentivizes them to have an amazing time and at the same time achieve our mission to promote physical education among children and prevent them from vulnerable and negative influences.
The kids have also been busy practicing their sport with the help of Sporting Chance and the African Impact volunteers and staff!
We are excited to announce we only have $1,700 left to fundraise and we cannot thank our donors enough for all the great support!
