As with every year as we go into summer there are children and youth who jump into the sports ministry for this time of year meaning our numbers jump and our reach expands. Many parents want thier children to focus on studies during the year but summer is thier free time! so we look forward to having more with us and pouring more and more into them. The youth have started coming on Mondays to just do the character development class by itself in order to focus on it. Tuesdays they then just come to play. During this class it give the youth a chance to open up without the feeling of the time constraint. They are opening up in new ways and we are hearing more and more of the stories and more and more of what is happening at home and in school giving us new ways to come along side them and support them and giving us more understanding of where they are coming from and how we can bring hope and help.
