Sports Day Celebration with children in Pakistan

I hope this message finds you well. We have some exciting news. We have changed the date of this project to 31^st March 2026. Since we did not raise these funds for our July 2025, another funding source gave us money for a scaled-back version of this. Like last summer, we were able to have a Sports Day with $650.

What this $2,500 project will enable us to do is have two days of activities with lunches and prizes. In a village of about 1,000 people, we have 135 children tutored throughout the week. With this project we should be able to attract children from surrounding villages and we think we can reach perhaps 150 children. We have been working in this village for eight years. These Sports Day events are ways we introduce new children to our programs.

None of these project monies go to our overhead. We have other generous donors helping us maintain our work throughout the year. With $2,500, we will be able to have a greater impact and a more complete and challenging Sports Day. We know how to do this. We have the people and skills. We just help financial help. Our strategy is to train the next generation of Pakistan leaders. In this dirt-poor village where generations have been stuck in extreme poverty, we are now into our eighth year of training children. We have 50 children who are now into their fourth year of training with three desktop computers. We have 50 children who are into their third year of English phonics and spelling, taught by a retired USA teacher.
