Association Footura started its proclaimed activities in executing the idea for Sports (revolution) campaigns in schools and universities in 100 cities in Bulgaria. At this stage we are in the beginning of the internal team-forming, chose of experts and coaches - from one side, and choosing of schools, universities, and cities - from another, discussions with potential partners and sponsors, participating institutions and volunteers, etc. The project preparation activities are currently developed entirely in Sofia - the capital of Bulgaria, but the planning and structuring of the work also cover many other cities and regions.
We also analyzed the main needs and risks and we planned a list of activities that we can realize in all these places. We prepare a healthy-sport questionnaire which will be disseminated among 200 students from 5, 6, 7 and 8 grades in some of the partner schools and institutions.
Our main focus in this project are students from schools and universities - these are youths that are organized in some structures, having sports activities - in bigger or fewer grade. Many of them - especially these ones that are under 18 years old, have not bad potential not only for excellent social inclusion and success through sport, but they have great chances even for successful sports career and realization.
We are really happy that we can work with them, we can contribute to their physical development and mental development, etc.
