We're having a very busy summer in Kalebuka this year. We have set up a summer camp to keep the girls engaged during these months when they are not in class. They are having a great time learning about photography and theater and are playing lots of sports. You can see some of these activities in the photos accompanying this report!
We also have a Belgian teacher joining us for two weeks to train our teachers, keeping their skills sharp and showing them more effective ways to engage the students.
With the new school year approaching fast in September, all the preparations are being completed to make sure we're ready to take on the new Kindergarten class of 29 students. Uniforms are being sewn, supplies have been purchased, and classrooms are being decorated. We can't wait to see their smiling faces!
With all these exciting events going on, we are profoundly grateful to have your support. The lives of the girls at the School are changing dramatically. Their dreams and ambitions would not be possible without your generosity and on behalf of our team and the girls - we thank you.
