We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support in helping neglected elderly individuals through the GlobalGiving Foundation. Your contributions have been a lifeline for senior citizens who have been abandoned and left to fend for themselves.
In Pasupala village of Kurnool Mandal, numerous elderly individuals aged between 60 to 90 years are struggling with starvation, as they are no longer able to work in agricultural fields or other labor-intensive sectors due to their advancing age. Their children, in pursuit of a livelihood, have migrated to other towns and cities, leaving their aging parents behind without proper care or financial support. Recognizing their distress, we have been identifying and assisting 20 such elderly women by providing them with essential food provisions and groceries on a monthly basis since 2009.
With this continued support, their health and overall well-being have improved significantly. Additionally, we ensure that these senior citizens receive essential clothing and other necessities at regular intervals.
Each month, we distribute a grocery kit containing:
Sona Masoori Rice
Toor Dal Cooking Oil
Hair Oil
Washing Soaps & Bathing Soaps
Spices & Lentils
Biscuits
Fresh Leafy Vegetables
These provisions enable the elderly individuals to prepare and consume nutritious meals. For those who are physically unable to cook, kind-hearted neighbors step in to assist them in preparing food. This timely support has been a source of immense relief, bringing a sense of dignity and security to their lives. The elderly women bless you for your compassion, generosity, and continuous assistance.
Because of your kindness, we are able to provide essential food supplies to these 20 destitute elderly women without any interruptions. Your unwavering support makes a significant difference in their lives, ensuring that they do not go hungry.
