I am Amna, just six-years old, I am living my uncle as I don’t have father and mother. I am the only daughter of my father and mother as both lost their lives in a bike accident. I lost them when I was just 12 months. My uncle is a farmer, he is a very hard-working man. My uncle has no daughter, he has only two sons of 5 years and 3 years. Being a single girl in the family, my uncle and aunt are too much caring and they dreamed that I join school. But they were unable to search a such school where girls can get education with safety and have an enabling environment. In this search, came to know them that there is a school in village Abdul Karim Khaskheli which is at the distance of 25 minutes’ walk from our home. My uncle visited the school and meet with the teachers, when he satisfied fully then he admitted me and my cousin here in the school. After admission, my uncle used to come with us to school for at least one month, when he felt that we both are confident and use too with the rout towards school then he left us, as now a days we both are coming school alone. No, doubt, after our admission, my uncle and aunt are very happy that we are in good school where teachers are very professional, caring and hard working. I am learning fast even being in first class in the age of six. Because, most of girls and boys joins school after five years. Last but not least, I am very thankful to Philanthropists, GlobalGiving and ARTS Foundation for providing the books, stationery, school bags and the salaries of the teachers. If this school has not been opened in this remote and rural village like Abdul Karim Khaskheli. The girls even the boys have been most deprived and vulnerable due to no access to school and education even in year 2022.
