I am able to understand English words meaning

By Huma Aslam | Project Leader

I am Sheeza, an eight-years-old student, an orphan girl living in Village Abdul Karim Khaskheli. My grandfather dropped me here in the school because I don’t have a mother or father in this world, both left me at the age of 4 and 6 and I have one brother and one sister. We all are living with grandfather’s family at their home. Before joining this school, I used to clean bring water and wood for fire to cook as well as clean cloths. I never thought that such day will come in my life and I will be in school as well as can read English words and understand their meaning but I am able to read and get meaning of English words now. This is very true that my grandfather, always wished that I could join school and get education even my father and mother were alive. My grandfather is very caring and loving person and he thinks about our future as we are orphans.

It’s fact and undeniably, I agree that neither I could join school nor my uncle wish could been full filled if the generous support from you philanthropists reached at ARTS Foundation under GlobalGiving because opening of the school in a very remote and rural village like Abdul Karim Khaskheli been possible through your finance where I have been able to read English words and understand English words meaning in Urdu and Sindhi languages. The orphan girls are most deprived and vulnerable in rural areas particularly because rural areas are lacking basic amenities like roads, hospital, schools and means of earning, employment and exposure.

Indeed, I am very much thankful to you philanthropists, ARTS Foundation and GlobalGiving that your generous support and philanthropy is making my education possible even in a very remote and rural area village like Abdul Karim Khaskheli. My teachers are humble, hard worker and very effective in teaching us particularly English and Urdu languages because we have our mother tongue, Sindhi language.

I would say finally, thank you my grandfather, my philanthropists, ARTS Foundation and GlobalGiving.
