Children with disabilities in Northern Uganda face serious mobility challenges that prevent them from accessing education and living with dignity. Many children in special needs schools and communities in districts such as Kole, Oyam, and Lira do not have wheelchairs and are forced to crawl long distances to school or depend entirely on caregivers for movement. Due to poverty, most families cannot afford proper mobility equipment for their children. As a result, many children miss school.
