Every parent will wish that their children attain some level of education, graduate, find a job and live a good life however largely this is not the case. Instead supporters like you through GlobalGiving have made those realities possible through your continued support towards girl child skilling programs at the CFYDDI.
Rose at one year lost his father! In the family of 4 children, two of his brothers never went to school and are now motor cycle riders and her other sister is unemployed. Rose managed to study until primary six until when the fees were increased and she could not continue with formal education at 15 years. The final option was to enroll for skills development training at the centre where she is learning hair dressing and being a beautician. Rose has an ambitious dream to take her family out of poverty when she finally sets up her own business after the skills training.
Friends at GlobalGiving you have been a spring board to many vulnerable girls; you have transformed lives and empowered a girl child to restore their hope and dreams. Thank you for trusting CFYDDI with such a special responsibility.
