Executive summary
The Sprout care foundation is grateful to all the generous donors for their support. Special thanks to the local donors that accepted to support the organization especially during different GlobalGiving campaigns.
Through the support of one donor we were able to purchase one motorcycle to facilitate movement of staffs as they do their work especially monitoring of children.
As schools were opening up this year one the school that we partner with had a challenge of water, the organization constructed a 2000 litre water tank to ensure availability of water for washing hands.
We are grateful for the local donors that realized the need to support some children start school again after a two year lock down without normal classes. To this effect a total of 50 children were facilitated with school requirements eg. Books, pens, pencils and school fees subsidy as per the donor request. All these are now at school. However some students got pregnant during covid 19 lock down, others feel that at their age it not practical to be in primary school. The organization is planning vocational skills for school dropout through a community learning centre approach.
Children health is paramount, the organisation supported 10 children to access medical treatment and they all recovered.
Great thanks to all our generous donors, we are looking forward to continue working with you this year 2022.
