The covid 19 pandemic has increased the number of school drop out and over 300 vulnerable children are unable to go to school. Many miss out because they can't afford scholastic materials and fees.
The sprout care foundation believes that all children deserve a high quality education at the school of their choice. In this regard we would like to express our gratitude to all our donors both local and through globalgiving for the continued support of vulnerable children education. During this reporting period the organisation has supported 11 children to access quality medical treatment and alll are doing well now.
The education system in Uganda was hit by the Covid 19, the organisation was able to procure home based learning materials for all the children and also ensure children and their families are protected from covid 19.
More so, all sponsored children were supported with schalastic materials which included book, pens, pencils, school uniforforms and payment of school and lunch fees as they reported back to school.
Sprout Care Foundation has now embarked on supporting the 20 sponsored chidren with food to enable their caregivers provide well during the new lock down that was annoumced by government. All the above is attributed to the support of our generous donors that have generously donated amidst the challenges of the global pandemic.
