Every day over 400 poor children and orphans in our area of operation wake up without hope to attend school and those who do have no money to buy the required school requirements. Therefore many miss out school because they can’t afford the fees and scholastic materials.
We are grateful for the kind donations received through Global Giving. These donations enabled 20 vulnerable children stay in school. We purchased new school uniforms, new shoes, school bags, books, pens and pencils and school fees which enabled them to attend school without any disturbance hence improved performance. These donations also helped the children to get meals at school and helped children access quality medical care for those that needed support.
We have come to the end of school academic year; all children are expected to be joining next grades. We are grateful that all our sponsored children were promoted. One of them will be joining Secondary school after completing seven years of primary education. All this success is attributed to our generous donors.
As the New Year begins, we have 12 poor children that have to start school, unfortunately these do not have hope of starting, 5 of these had to start last year but could not start, please spread the word and help us support these children
Thanks to all our donors, we are looking forward to continue working with you in 2020.
