Project Peport for speech therapy unit for disabled students (42820)- Progress Report

Child has a speech disability that includes trouble in pronouncing words speech therapy may help improve language development, communications & Pragmatic language skills. Speech therapy is an intervention service that focus on improving a child speech and ability to understand and express language.

           Our Special School is situated in Taluk Head Quarter (Semi Urban) and most of the students are from remote rural area and also from below poverty line. We are providing free education along with food, uniform, transportation and other basic need. for the benefit of physical disability students. we have already built one full pledged Physiotherapy unit which was started functioning since Nov. 2019.

           In order to be disorders to be considered a disability it must demonstrate an adverse effect on the childs educational  performance speech and language service are considered part of special education in that they are designed to meet the unique needs of the child at no cost to the parent.

Project report for the speech therapy unit is already submitted.

We have already built sound proof Audiometery Accoustics room through Orion Accoustics Solutions Bangalore. Required Audiometer instruments are to be installed very soon. Due to Covid-19 now we are not receiving expected financial assistance from our well wishers. However we are trying our level best to complete the said project as early as possible. We request you to make the project success with your co-operation. We are very much hopeful to full fill our cherished goal to bring these students to the main stream of the society with your valued support.
