Spaying/Neutering Again!

I'm so happy to announce that we are beginning to hold spay/neuter clinics for feral and stray cats again!

The first clinic will be May 15, 2020 since needing to close on March 19, 2020, per the Oregon Governor's orders. Our community did what we needed to and kept the COVID-19 cases to a minimum, which means we received clearance to reopen this month.

We are starting slowly and limiting clinics to just feral and stray cats. We are working hard to protect staff, volunteers, and caregivers while helping as many cats as possible. We will regularly reevaluate our procedures and increase our capacity when it is safe to do so.

In January 2020 we saw 33% more cats in our clinics over last year, and in February we saw a 62% increase. These numbers are on the heels of a record breaking year. Needing to close our clinic when the need for our services was growing so rapidly was heartbreaking, but we are focused on the future and doing all that we can to help the cats. We are thankful we have your support as we enter this new phase.
