2018 was a great year for the cats!

We're purring with gratitude for the community support of the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon (FCCO) in 2018 as we spayed/neutered 6,237 cats throughout the year! This coming summer we will help our milestone 100,000th cat since our program’s inception in 1995. It is incredible what we can do together and we are truly grateful.

Some highlights from 2018 include:

  • The Kitten Caboose program transferred 283 adoptable kittens to the humane society, so they can find forever homes instead of growing up on the streets.
  • Season’s Feedings, our annual holiday cat food drive, collected 4,487 pounds of food to help provide nutritious meals for feral and stray cats in need during the cold winter months– nearly double what was collected last year!
  • Two colonies with more than 100 cats came to our clinic. At the beginning of the year 101 cats from a colony in Yamhill were spayed/neutered at FCCO and then in June 137 cats from a colony in Terrebonne were transported to our clinic for care. We also helped 19 caregivers who feed large colonies ranging from 20 to 62 cats.
  • We welcomed 61 new volunteers to our program.

Thank you again for all you do for the cats!
