Thank you
The French Red Cross wishes to thank all of those who showed their support for the victims of the November 13th attacks. The generous donations that we received will fund our priority actions including essential first aid and psychological support for those in needs.
Solidarity within our international movement was also present. Many Red Cross' national societies have informed us of their full support and proposed reinforcements in volunteers and material at the time of the attacks.
We also want to thank the French people who, through social networks, in the blood donation facilities, hospitals and on the streets showed their great solidarity.
"For 150 years, the French Red Cross has managed to weave a unique and strong link with the French people through crisis situations, but also thanks to his daily presence among the most vulnerable. This historic anchor associated with the ideal of humanity and solidarity that we embody, makes our identity, our strength and our difference!
Today we must continue our efforts and develop our actions to improve our response to the growing needs of the people we assist. Through the dedication and commitment of our volunteers and employees, hundreds of thousands of people are heard, directed, supported and cared throughout their life course.
In a world shaken by crises, in which social inequalities continue to widen our role and responsibilities are more important than ever. For 150 years, and for the coming years, the French Red Cross intends to fight against all forms of suffering, with a loud and clear message of commitment, humanity, hope and brotherhood."
