Definitely a deal!
Out of $2000 goal, $ 1,107 was raised by 22 donors.
Have children received gifts?
NO!
But why?
We hoped that it would be done by early January. However, due to procedural requirements at Global Giving, we received our money four days ago.
Our members are working around the clock to get these gifts bought as soon as possible.
Will it be possible to supply every child with the back to school gift pack without the remaining $ 893?
Of course Yes; nothing short!
Members had agreed initially to buy gifts for only ahalf of the children. This did not give good feelings. Members felt the quilt of not living to their promise. They didnt know how to remain neutral to children. They felt that this would retroumatize children. It has realy been an issue to us since we felt that we were not going to raise the full amounts.
On Friday evening, members held an impromto meeting to resolve the matter. Members unonemously agreed to buy a slightly smaller bag with most agendly needed ecessories enough for every child.
However, that might still not be the case!!!!!
Why?
An upcoming political aspirant has just offered to donate to the project. The chairman, treasurer and I are yet to meet him tommorow morning.Kindly start envisioning him topping up the remaining amount. We will be sharing with you about the outcome of the meeting.
Thank you for choosing to support our cause. We will also send you pictures of our children with their gifts. Thank you very much and keep anticipating news from us the soonest.
God bless you!
