Our kids will be the ones inheriting the world from us. It is equally important that their curiosity and interest at such a young age will be developed to include protecting the surroundings that they live in until they become adults that they too can pass on to the new generation.
It is quite challenging to explain the complexities of renewable energy to children that we have to start building the basics slowly into their young minds. Sustainability as one of solar energy's benefits can be related simply as the process of planting a fruit going on to relating the energy derived from the sun as important in growing plants.
Towards the end of the topic, each kind of renewable enrgy is introduced to the child. One of the kind of renewable energy that has always been simple to explain to the students at Foundation University is by giving them a field trip to witness the existing solar farm on campus.
Solar power on-campus greatly benefits the students in Foundation University because they get to enjoy clean air while enjoying electricity in classrooms and laboratories even if we are still enjoying 45% solar power generation. Our continuous drive to make it 100% is still in full effect for would be donors as we strive to contribute in our own little way of protecting our environment.
