Producing energy from solar power might be costly but later on, it would be cost-efficient at the same time, helpful to the environment. As it emits low carbon footprint, the production of energy from solar panels is a truly sustainable practice for the University being an advocate of environmental preservation.
This Low carbon emission energy source will further help the environment and the example set by the institution will also inspire organizations and individuals to imitate the practice, in the light of cost efficiency and in aiming for a low carbon emission energy source,
The energy generated from solar panels help greatly during random and rotating blackouts that often disturb the work routines of most employees who are dependent with technology, internet and electrical supply.
Also, another point of advantage is the sustainability of the source, as wind and water are also sustainable but there are instances when the wind is slow and the water supply would decrease. But with solar energy, the sun does not fail to create energy. Even during storms or bad weather, the sun is still producing energy good enough to sustain the energy needs.
