In most electric companies across the country, the big challenge for the past months is the shortage of energy supply to be provided to the consumers. In Negros Oriental, there is no exception. Frequent power outage and unscheduled brownouts are often done by the companies in order to sustain the operations.
During these occurences, one can truly appreciate the advantages of Solar Panel Project which helps with the recurring power outage due to shortage of power supply in the local companies. The University can freely operate during the work hours despite the power outage occuring from the local electric providers.
Indeed, renewable energy from the sun has made a big difference in the work of the University.
