Sad to say, we have received no donations. Maybe because Puerto Rico is not in the news. But it will be when the hurricanes hit, and then it will be too late to order the solar lanterns. We need to stockpile them now. Fortunately our partner in Puerto Rico, the Salvation Army is well positioned to do that.
Please, please help. Every $10 will give basic light to three families.
We have sent 1000 solar lanterns to Puerto Rico as part of our support for school children. But Puerto Rico is just one of many countries we support in this way. It won't even be a drop in the bucket when the hurricanes hit.
