Global Peace Foundation and the Mansalay Municipality government represented by their town Mayor together with his officials had a coordination meeting to discuss further the situation of indigenous communities who already received solar lamps and solar street lights. The municipality mayor reported that some of those villages already have electricity and the idea of developing their economic status through possible livelihood projects was proposed. The next Solar Lamps project implementation will be scheduled next quarter; for forty (40) selected Indigenous Filipino Children in one of the Mangyan villages in Mansalay Oriental Mindoro. The meeting with the Mansalay municipal government officials sealed the partnership and ensure continued collaboration in reaching out and helping less privileged indigenous Filipino children in the mountains of Mansalay Oriental Mindoro.
