The beneficiaries from Sitio Tagaytay in Barangay Bonbon, Mansalay Oriental Mindoro received brief orientation from the local counterpart, Ms. Marquez on how to properly use the solar lamps to maximize their capacity. He also emphasizes that it is equally important in how they took care of it. The lamps given have a radio that gives information about what is happening around them as they are situated in the far-flung community in Mansalay. There’s also a charging port that allows them to charge their respective phones and another gadget. Using renewable energy like solar lamps helps not only the residents of Sitio Taytay but as whole solar lights reduce the effect of climate change.
