“It’s been a year since the pandemic started last year, most of the time we stayed inside our house to avoid being infected of then virus. Face to face classes in the schools also stopped and my kids study their lesson and modules at home. Solar lamps help us not only during night time but also during day time when they study inside their room.” Mrs. Rina a mother of 3 school kids from Mansalay Oriental Mindoro, who received Solar Lantern last implementation expressed their gratitude to all the donors.
With continuing coordination with the local government of Mansalay through their focal person helps us to monitor the current situation of our beneficiaries. They are also hoping that lockdowns will be lifted up as we are planning to have face to face implementation in the near future. Securing the safety of both beneficiaries and volunteers is our main priority as we safeguard everyone from the danger of Corona Virus.
