The remaining beneficiaries from Barangay Poblacion received their respective solar lanterns through the help of the project coordinator from Mansalay municipal office, Mr. Marquez. The project was made possible through the partnership with various women led civic organizations who committed to support the less privileged indigenous peoples’ communities in Mindoro.
In November 2020, the team is planning to visit the site for another project implementation with the Inner Wheel Clubs of the Philippines. We will pursue the said visit if the threats of the COVID -19 pandemic will be less risky for the staffs, volunteers, and beneficiaries. Site visits will be conducted only after careful considerations. The safety of everyone who will be involved in the project is being prioritized.
